I love baking Banana Bread. I feel very Stepford Momish in the ease with which I bake this bread and then with the aroma wafting through the house.
It’s always good to have your breads and baked goods cool before you eat it, but I don’t feel so strongly about that rule when baking Banana Bread. I think it’s very important to the process to cut a thick slice as soon as it comes out of the oven and lather on an equally thick layer of butter. Butter NOT margarine, PLEASE! The rest of the bread can be cooled for the weekly sarmies
